 One of the first certified provincial level technical centers in Guangxi, the technical center constitutes the main part of the technology innovation system of the company.
The center has a strong technical team composed of over 20 high profile and leading R & D personnel with senior and intermediate professional titles in various fields. As an important technical supporting to the overall development strategy of the company, the center functions as a key division in the research and development of new products, innovation, new technology and new equipment, an incubator of hi-tech as well as a platform for technical cooperation and exchange.
The center has four labs in vans, hydraulic lifting products, standard information and technical study and one design development shop. The development idea is based on the modification, development and storage and strategy of advanced technology and product differentiation to enrich  and improve the vans and lifting product series. In recent years, the center has developed series of new-structural bulk cement trucks, Europe standard tank trucks and fuel trucks. The center now possesses ten new products with independent property right and has completed over twenty technical upgrading projects and helped create a total output value of 120 million yuan with a profit of over five million yuan. The development rate of technology innovation has increased by three times. The center boasts a wealth of know-how in the design of feeding and discharge system of tankers, hydraulic system fitting, control and dynamic design, automatic computer control system and structure design.
Over the years, the center has been involved in key provincial and prefecture level projects concerning the development of new generation bulk cement trucks, concrete mixers, back-loading garbage trucks and semi-trailers. The successful development of the Europe standard tank trucks and fuel trucks assigned by Guangxi authorities has brought up the technical upgrading of tank and fuel trucks to a higher level with loads of technical problems solved. All this has helped increase the competitive edges of home made vehicles in the market. Most of the imported parts have been replaced by home made substitutes. The center is now working with Nanjing University of Science & Technology and Wuhan University of Technology in the projects of new product developments for special purpose vehicles. The completion of these projects will further enhance the overall special vehicle research and development level.
The company has made its development strategy and objective to expanse into a first-class special vehicle manufacturer in the country during the "11th-fieve-year plan". Aiming at emerging in the ASEAN market, every effort has been made to speed up the research and development of hi-tech products and the expansion of labs and facilities as well as to improve vehicle performance test methods.
The center attaches great importance to the cooperation with universities. So far, it has established close ties with Nanning University of Science & Technology, Wuhan University of Technology, Guangxi University, Guilin University of Technology and Guangxi University of Technology in technical problems solving and product performance upgrading. In addition, the center and these universities have trained lots of skilled personnel for many enterprises.
The technical center is now heading towards a first-class research institute in special purpose vehicles in the country.
